KLONDIKE’s 100TH BIRTHDAY
To celebrate Klondike’s 100th birthday we created the most epic ice cream cake ever and paired it with 100 signature ”What Would You Do for a Klondike” (WWYD) challenges that span the past 10 decades. First, we partnered with the “Cake Boss” Buddy Valastro, to create a limited-edition, ten-tier ice cream cake that spotlights our Klondike products from bars to shakes.
WHAT WOULD YOU DO FOR KLONDIKE’s 100th BIRTHDAY?
On National Ice Cream Day, we took our custom wrapped ice cream truck to the streets of LA, NYC and Chicago where fans can get free ice cream and complete a WWYD a challenge to win a Carlo’s Bakery x Klondike prize cake. Anyone not in attendance was able to participate via social media. One lucky winner was awarded 100 years of free ice cream via a platinum Klondike card!
